These terms govern access to HomeCinemaAmplifiers.co.za and the use of its independent educational product information and enquiry service.

Website operator

HomeCinemaAmplifiers.co.za is operated by Elevate Living (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2024/386583/07. References to “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms refer to the website operator.

Informational service

This website provides independent guidance about home-cinema amplification and related system design. It is not a manufacturer website, and the inclusion of a brand or product does not by itself represent an agency, dealership, endorsement, distributorship or guaranteed ability to supply that product. Manufacturer names, logos and product marks belong to their respective owners.

No online sale or contract

The website does not display a shopping cart, accept payment, conclude a sale or create a supply contract online. Product pages, comparisons, guidance and enquiry forms are invitations to obtain information only; they are not binding offers, stock confirmations, quotations or promises of supply. Submitting an enquiry does not commit either party to a transaction.

If we later assist with procurement, supply, design, installation or consulting, the relevant contracting party, scope, model and finish, price, taxes, lead time, delivery, warranties, cancellation rights and other applicable terms must be set out in a separate written quotation or agreement before any commitment is made.

Accuracy and currency of information

We make a good-faith effort to use reliable sources, including current manufacturer documentation, and to present product descriptions, images, applications and technical specifications accurately. However, manufacturers and regional representatives may change models, specifications, finishes, accessories, documentation, software, pricing, test methods or availability without notice. Errors or omissions may also occur.

Published power figures and other performance claims may depend on impedance, channel count, frequency range, distortion threshold, mains voltage, firmware and laboratory conditions. Dates marked “verified” record our most recent documented review; they do not guarantee that the source has not changed since. Critical information must be confirmed against the applicable manufacturer documentation and a written project quotation before purchase or installation. Availability, sourcing and regional supply

Product inclusion does not mean that stock is held in South Africa or available through a local representative. Availability is subject to the relevant brand’s local representation, distributor arrangements, allocations, discontinuations and regional policies. Where appropriate, we may work with South African or international suppliers to investigate sourcing and procurement. International sourcing can affect lead times, currency exposure, freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes, approvals, voltage or regional configuration, warranty support and service arrangements.

No product is reserved or procured until availability has been checked and a separate written agreement has been accepted. See the availability and sourcing notice.

Professional system design

Amplifier selection depends on loudspeaker impedance and sensitivity, listening distance, target level, room acoustics, processor gain, channel allocation, electrical supply, cooling and installation conditions. Website information is general guidance and is not a substitute for competent site-specific design, electrical advice, installation or commissioning.

Enquiries and communications

We aim to respond helpfully, but an acknowledgement or informal discussion does not confirm technical suitability, price, stock, delivery or a contract. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive personal information through the enquiry form or email.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal or business research. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious material, misuse the enquiry form, scrape it in a manner that impairs service, or reproduce substantial original content as your own commercial publication.

Third-party material and links

Manufacturer and other third-party material is referenced for product identification and source verification. External manufacturer links are not provided on this website. Product photography, names, logos and marks remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used for identification and informational presentation.

Website availability and liability

The site is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on outdated or incomplete website information, interruption of access, or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Privacy and access to information

Personal information submitted through the site is handled as described in the privacy notice. Requests for records are addressed in the PAIA manual.

Changes, severability and governing law

We may update the website and these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. South African law governs use of the website, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or remedy that applies.
